God sent Jesus to the cross so we could be forgiven, and when He redeemed our souls in this way, He did so to give us a place in Heaven after we die. Our hope isn't in the temporary things of this life, but in eternity. We have so much to look forward to because of Jesus, and while we wait to achieve the goal of our faith, God will give us the strength to keep going. We need only ask.
