10 Easy Ways to Share the Gospel with Cross Pennies
1. Hand someone a Cross Penny and say...
The cross speaks of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is 1 cent (sent) to die and set us free (liberty) from our sins.
He rose from the dead so that we could be saved when "In God we Trust".
Will this be "the year" of your salvation?
2. Tip a Waiter or Waitress with a Generous Cash Tip and a Cross Penny.
The next time you eat out at a restaurant leave the waiter or waitress a generous tip and a Cross Penny.
Often times the coin will mean so much more to them than the generous cash tip.

3. Send them in a Greeting Card.
The next time you send out a Birthday card or Christmas card include a cross penny. The pennies will certainly add a "nice touch" to those cards.
4. Attach it onto your key chain.
You will now have something to keep in your pocket as a nice reminder.
Show it to someone and say this is a penny from heaven and the key to get in. Then explain how Jesus dying on the cross is the key to getting into heaven.
Explaining the gospel is the best part.
5. Visit someone in the hospital and...
Ask if you can give them something. Then take their hand and put a cross penny in it and look them in the eye and say, "Jesus loves you so much that He died on the cross to forgive your sins, so that you can spend eternity in heaven with Him."
These pennies aren't magical but I have found that when you give one out and look a person in the eye and tell them the gospel about how much Jesus loves them, the Holy Spirit touches their lives.
6. Give them to guests as Wedding Favors
The guests will cherish a cross penny to remember the special day. It serves as a unique wedding favor and a great little token of the celebration.
7. Give them to children as VBS gifts .
The next time your church has Vacation Bible School you can hand these out as special gifts. They can be used to reward children for anything from memorizing scripture to just having a good day.
8. Wear it on a bracelet or necklace .
They can easily be attached to a bracelet or necklace and always be in sight. It is a great reminder of God's love and that Christ took our cross and died in our place.
9. Share with your customers.
These are great little gifts to give to your customers whether you own a business or just serve people.

10. Share them with anyone, anytime and anywhere!
Share them with friends, family, members at church, your pastor, Sunday school teacher, strangers, everyone you meet!
I use them as a witness tool on a daily basis. They are portable and definitely a conversation starter.
I do not "force" my beliefs on people, but I ask them if they got one of these and hand them a cross penny.
If they ask questions (and they will when they see these), it gives me the opportunity that I am looking for to share my faith.
